Economic citizenship and second passport programs have existed for many years, but few programs have been as successful as the “Dominica Economic Citizenship” program or the “St. Kitts Citizenship-by-Investment” program. No other current jurisdiction offers citizenship and a 2nd passport without residency requirements.
Dual citizenship and the second passport earned through economic citizenship are considered for many reasons. Some use it as a means to expand investment opportunities, while others use economic citizenship as a shield from social, political, economic and financial instability. Whatever the reason, our two recommended non-resident citizenship programs prove to be consistently beneficial and advantageous to holders.
The citizenship programs of St. Kitts and Nevis and Dominica offer citizenship for life, without restrictions and provide the full benefits as bestowed to all natural citizens. They have voting rights, can bear a passport and have equal rights under law. More favourably, there are no residency requirements nor do applicants have to give up their current citizenship or residence to acquire Dominica citizenship or St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship.
The governments of these countries established these 2nd passport programs specifically to stimulate the economy of the islands, and as such, both programs require a significant cash investment.
Both citizenship programs accept applications for individuals and families. The number of family members on the application, and the ages of the members determine the overall cost of the program. We recommend CCP Inc. for Dominica Citizenship Program and St. Kitts Citizenship-by-Investment — they are the leaders and offer reliable and inexpensive services.
Under the Dominica Economic Citizenship program, there are two main citizenship options; the Single Option and the Family Option. The revenue generated under the citizenship program and the 2nd passports are subsequently invested in specific government approved projects in areas of education, sports, health and other key sectors.
The Dominica citizenship application process can run approximately 2-3 months as it is conducted at the highest level of administration, requiring background checks and due diligence checks. These measures are in place to protect the integrity of both the island and theprogram itself. It is a thorough process where the main applicant is required to personally visit Dominica for a comprehensive interview, though arrangements can be made to have the interview (at the applicants cost) in New York or London.
Upon approval Certificates of Naturalization and Dominica citizenship is granted immediately and we make the application for your Dominica passport immediately.
In St. Kitts and Nevis there are also two main citizenship options; the first being the Sugar Investment Diversification Fund (SIDF) option and the Real Estate Investment option. Both of these programs are open to individuals or families.
Under the SIDF option, the main applicant simply makes a non-refundable financial contribution (set according to the number of applicants) and automatically receives St Kitts and Nevis citizenship.
The second option is more of a long-term investment option whereby applicants purchase real estate in Saint Kitts or Nevis in exchange for second citizenship. The final government cost is also based on application details. There is no interview or visitation requirement for St. Kitts economic citizenship, but if you choose the real estate option, we do recommend you visit the islands to hand pick your property of choice, since there are many real estate projects available on the beautiful islands.
